Over the past year, the SOPE board has been hard at work developing and implementing many new initiatives that will serve our unique community for years to come. Our biggest commitment and service has been to our sonographers, fellows in training, and early career faculty members. This year SOPE is pleased to announce the following membership renewal opportunities to our society of members:

What are the benefits of being a SOPE member?
The Society of Pediatric Echocardiography (SOPE) is a non-profit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The overarching goal of the Society is to advance the field of pediatric and congenital echocardiography through collaborative research, education, and mentorship.

The volunteer positions on the subcommittees provide our members with valuable educational content, offer opportunities for members to serve in areas they would like to see growth and development in the field of pediatric echocardiography, and create a pipeline for leadership on the SOPE board.
We have been hard at work creating a new website for our members, that is content-rich and offers members a chance to collaborate with our community through networking and educational resources.
As SOPE moves forward in our mission to provide a unique environment for the pediatric and adult congenital echocardiography community to collaborate with other imaging societies to promote networking, education, advocacy, research, and program development, we hope you will join us in pursuit of our mission and purpose.
