What are the benefits of being a SOPE member?
The Society of Pediatric Echocardiography (SOPE) is a non-profit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The overarching goal of the Society is to advance of the field of pediatric and congenital echocardiography through collaborative research, education and mentorship.

The volunteer positions held on the subcommittees serve to provide our members with valuable educational content, offer opportunities for members to serve in areas they would like to see growth and development in the field of pediatric echocardiography and create a pipeline for leadership on the SOPE board.
We have been hard at work creating a new website for our members, that is content-rich and offers members a chance to collaborate with our community through networking and educational resources.

As SOPE moves forward in our mission to provide a unique environment for the pediatric and adult congenital echocardiography community to collaborate with other imaging societies to promote networking, education, advocacy, research, and program development we hope that you will join us in pursuit of our mission and purpose. ·Waiver of individual membership fees for up to 10 physicians and 10 sonographers at your institution for each year of sponsorship, all fellows are free

·Access to standardized protocols
·Higher priority for echo collaborative, QI, and subcommittee opportunities
The benefits of Institutional Sponsorship include:
·Recognition of your institution on the Society of Pediatric Echocardiography website Sponsorship page, including a listing of the institution, the institution’s logo, and a list of all SOPE members from the institution
·Recognition of Institutional Sponsorship on electronic and print communications of the SOPE including quarterly newsletter, and acknowledgement in membership meetings for each year of sponsorship
